By the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, the Diocese of Sourozh is launching the Diocesan Online Catechism Classes, conducted in English.

The Diocesan Online Catechism Classes are intended to provide an accessible and systematic introduction to the teaching, liturgical tradition, and life of the Orthodox Church. The course is primarily addressed to those who are preparing to be received into the Orthodox Church, but it is also open to all Orthodox Christians who wish to deepen their understanding of the Orthodox faith.

The programme will consist of 12 online lectures, each lasting approximately 60 minutes. The classes will take place every second Wednesday evening, from 7:30 to 8:30 pm, from October to April.

The lectures will be delivered by priests of the Diocese of Sourozh, including His Grace Bishop Matthew. The classes will be offered free of charge. Participants who wish to follow the course will be asked to register in advance by email. Registration will allow the Diocese to provide participants with the necessary information and online access details.
